Comedian Ellen DeGeneres was given a star around the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday , together with her mom Betty and wife Portia de Rossi available, along with friends Due to jimmy kimmel and Ryan Seacrest.
American talk show host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres continues to be honoured with the 2,477th star around the Hollywood Walk of Fame in La.
The 54-year-old, who was combined with her wife Portia de Rossi and mother Betty in the ceremony, received it on her active contribution to prime-time television in the last 30 years.
"I'm getting a star around the Hollywood Walk of Fame today at 11am," DeGeneres tweeted, "Come watch me! Also, I'd love a ride home. 6270 Hollywood Blvd."
She also garnered support from comedian and talk show host Due to jimmy kimmel and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, each of whom were present in the event.
"So excited to determine fans here to determine me get my star around the Walk of Fame! Fall if you can!" she said.
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian has says she would like to become the very first reality TV personality to become awarded a star around the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The socialite, who's dating rapper Kanye, became world-famous after a sex tape featuring her and former boyfriend Ray J was leaked online, and subsequently designed a career by featuring in their reality show - Checking up on the Kardashians.
