After months of fooling us into thinking they’d already gotten hitched secretly, Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied finally, legitimate got married on Saturday in Big Sur, California. The Jewish ceremony happened in a private home at night, People reports.
The pair, whose son Aleph is 14 months old, first met and started dating last year, on the set of Black Swan - simply the least romantic movie we are able to think of. But dancer/choreographer Millepied was perfectly capable of getting past Natalie’s psycho ballerina character and also the two announced their engagement and also the baby on the way in December 2010. Per month later, they started making all of the red carpet rounds together, adorably revealing Natalie’s baby bump as she acquired trophy after trophy.
Considering Millepied’s background Portman’s Black Swan skills we are able to only assume that the couple’s first dance was a classic sight to behold.
Obviously, all we really need to know is: What did Natalie Portman, While she’s still the official face of Dior, Portman also offers close ties to Rodarte-and we’re betting the Mulleavy sisters dreamed up a custom wedding dress for the celebrity bride. In the end, Rodarte designed Portman’s gorgeous Oscar dress in addition to her Black Swan costumes and they’re also tight using the groom: Earlier this year the look duo designed the costumes for his new ballet, Two Hearts.
The newlyweds happen to be together since focusing on the set of Black Swan this year. They announced their engagement later that year, though they kept the many other details of their relationship extremely private.
The two do an amazingly frustrating job of keeping private, but that doesn’t mean photographers haven’t were able to snap some super sweet pics of these displaying their affection. Here’s just a little photographic celebration of methods much these two clearly love one another! Congrats!
